WORCESTER Rugby Club girls' under 18s won their first cup game of the 2018-19 season in style with a 49-5 triumph at Oswestry.
After three fine friendly results the city side were without players for the competitive opener but soon surged into a 27-5 half-time lead.
Scrum-half Charlie Manns (2), prop Abbie Smitheman, full-back Dijana Clarke and winger Anna Stowell scored in the first half.
Manns completed her hat-trick in the second period with two tries for Lauren Webb and one more for Smitheman.
Worcester girls' under 15s were also in action with a resounding win in their first cup game, triumphing 67-5 at Shrewsbury.
