WORCESTER Rugby Club's Vipers are through to the North Midlands Under 15s Cup quarter-finals.

They beat Bromsgrove in the preliminary stage and Camp Hill in the first round.

Both games were on Worcester’s first-team pitch with a healthy crowd and well refereed by Nancy Wilkin-Mead.

Worcester's set-piece was good, their defence solid and they produced sparkling attacking rugby with lots of support.

But they need to work hard on discipline if they are to repeat last year’s success in the cup.

Far too many penalties were awarded against them in both games allowing the opposition to make a lot of ground through the boot.

Against Bromsgrove, tries were scored by Jack Hodgson (3), Jacob Morgan-Iqbal (2), George Boyle, Josh Culpin, Ben Williams and Alex Terry.

Among the scorers against Camp Hill were Robbie May (2), Williams (3), Boyle, Will Wrout (2), Seb Dear and Terry.

The quarter-finals will be played in February.

Alex Jones, Freddie Griffiths, George Cunliffe, Isiah Martin, Ben Amos, Jack Morrison, Jamie Harris, Sam Jeff, Cam Richardson, Elijah Martin, Kieran Pointon, Roman Quinn, Alfie Morse, Tobey Jones, Fin Dalby, Will Dunaway and Arrian Ghoncheh were also involved in the squad.
