MANAGER Neil MacFarlane has left Kidderminster Harriers by mutual consent with chairman Colin Gordon taking the reins until the end of the season.
The decision follows Saturday's 3-0 defeat at Darlington, Kidderminster's third loss in four National North matches that leaves them ninth in the table.
A club statement read: "Following mutually amicable discussions, it has been agreed that Neil MacFarlane and the club will part company with immediate effect.
"The club would like to wish Neil every good fortune for the future."
Senior players Jimmy O’Connor and Russ Penn will join Gordon in overseeing first-team affairs for the remainder of the season.
Then-football development director Gordon served as caretaker manager from September in the 2015-16 season and bought a majority stake in November 2015.
