WEST Midlands League Division One high-fliers Worcester Raiders and Droitwich Spa helped themselves to goal feasts.

Raiders continued their title pursuit with a 7-1 home beating of basement boys Telford Juniors at Claines Lane to make it 12 league wins in a row.

Spa romped to a 10-0 success at fourth-from-bottom Bustleholme to remain one point behind second-placed Raiders having played two games more.

After Telford took a shock early lead from long range, Paul Smith equalised for Raiders from a free-kick.

Roland Krol made it two and then Richard Smith followed up to score after Anthony Smith missed a penalty.

Matt Tyler and Krol then established a 5-1 lead by half-time.

Krol completed his hat-trick in the second period with substitute Kyle Belmonte also on target on his return to Raiders after playing for them at under 10s level.

Spa's club record victory was achieved courtesy of five goals from Worcester City's James Lemon, a Brad Burgess brace, Haydn Morris' strike, Curtis Townley's penalty and an own goal.

Townley also hit the post with a second spot-kick while Lemon came on at half-time with Spa 4-0 up to run riot.

Malvern Town battled to a 2-1 victory at Herefordshire side Wellington in the Premier Division for their fifth straight win.

They took an early lead through Matt Fusco after neat build-up play but conceded from a set-piece straight away.

Town kept the pressure on and another Worcester City player Kyonn Evans applied a cool finish to win the game in the second period.
