TREBLE winner Stefan Sternkopf was among the high-flying Worcester AC members at the Worcestershire & Warwickshire Cross Country Championships at Stretton-under-Fosse.
Club junior Sternkopf won gold in the v50 category for the third consecutive year on a successful day for many of the stars of the future.
Worcester claimed gold in the under-13 and under-17 boys' sections, the latter including the top prize for James Dale, as well as the senior men's competition which was again scooped for the third year in a row. This was the third year in a row that Worcester have won the senior
All six senior scorers finished in the top 10, giving an overall lead of 96 points from second-placed Birmingham Running and Tri Club.
The senior men's team now hope to continue their good form to finish strongly in their remaining two Division One fixtures in the Birmingham League.
