KIDDERMINSTER Harriers have boosted their attacking options by signing West Bromwich Albion winger Nick Clayton-Phillips.

The 19-year-old joins on loan until the end of the season and is available for Saturday’s home game with Boston United in National League North (3pm).

The teenager gave a promising display in the summer friendly against Harriers and has featured regularly for the Baggies under 23s who play some matches at Aggborough.

Clayton-Phillips has just finished a similar spell in non-league after time with National League side Braintree Town.

For the Boston game, Harriers' Dan Bradley is back in full training and could feature but fellow attacking midfielder Ed Williams remains a doubt.

Centre-half Jimmy O'Connor and loan forward George Waring, both still nursing minor injuries, are unlikely to be available.

Midfielder Billy Daniels continues his recovery from an injury sustained at Hereford FC over Christmas.

Defender Ryan Johnson serves the second of a three-game ban while midfielder Liam Truslove has returned from his loan at Halesowen Town but is still recovering from a foot injury.

Harriers are under chairman Colin Gordon and experienced players O'Connor and Russ Penn after this week's exit of manager Neil MacFarlane.

He left after last Saturday's 3-0 defeat at Darlington with Harriers then going down 2-1 at high-flying Spennymoor Town on Tuesday.

Player Sam Austin said of the midweek match: "We were happy with the performance so now it's about getting the results."

Boston sit 12th in the table six points behind ninth-placed Harriers.
