WORCESTER City's club captain Jordan Stoddart has agreed terms to join Southern League Premier Division Central outfit Redditch United.
City confirmed they had waived a seven-day notice made by Redditch and Stoddard informed the club of his desire to test himself a higher level.
Stoddart will be unable to make his debut for Redditch this weekend due to suspension.
Redditch boss Paul Smith said: “Jordan is a big, strong, and physical defender.
“Rob Evans and Andy Parsons have been magnificent for us since I brought them in, and at times playing with knocks.
“Jordan will help take the load off. A great addition."
Cameron Walker, who had signed on dual registration terms from Stourbridge early this season, has also departed Worcester after making just two appearances for John Snape’s side.
Gresley-target George Forsyth is expected to be in the Worcester squad that travel to Ilkeston Town on Saturday (3pm).
