Worcester's Phil Hodgkins got in touch on Facebook to say: "I was the manager of this Worcester Juniors team.

"It was the final of the Mercian League under 13s cup in which Worcester Juniors beat Newtown Sports 2-1.

"The manager of Newtown was former Norwich City and Coventry City (and Hereford United) player Greg Downs.

"Both manager's sons scored in the first half, James Hodgkins scoring with a free-kick from the halfway line and Gareth Downs equalising for Newtown.

"The winning goal was scored by Bryan Craven with a superb volley. Bryan went on to play for Pershore Town and Malvern Town as an adult."

The team lined up, back row (left to right): Corin Beames, Thijs Morris, Nick Beard, Shaun Chadwick, Mark Jones, Tim Stenson, David Hooper, Ben Kingsley, David Pinkney and Sam Pisani.

Front: Bryan Craven, Graham McGregor, James Hodgkins, Rob Rich and Neal Lindsey.
