WORCESTER City opened up a 14-point lead at the top of NERF Junior Premier League Under-12s Midlands South by beating nearest rivals Birmingham City 2-1 at Perdiswell.
Oliver Piekarski and Charlie Lannie were on target to maintain a near-unblemished record against the second-placed Blues.
Birmingham have three games in hand but had gone into the clash unbeaten in the league this season.

After falling behind in the 16th minute City came up against a keeper in fine form but eventually made the breakthrough when Matty Patrick-Rivers netted from the penalty spot 10 minutes from time only to concede a last-ditch winner.
Joel Owusu and Callum Harper were the goalscorers as a youthful reserve team won 2-1 at Coton Green in Midland Football League Reserve Division.
