WORCESTER Warriors will be able to select their England under 20s stars when the Gallagher Premiership clashes with the Six Nations according to boss Alan Solomons.

Flanker Ted Hill and Ollie Lawrence featured in England’s opening two games of the championships against Ireland and France while Warriors were in Premiership Cup action.

But the duo missed last Friday’s meeting with Wales as they were recalled by Worcester to play in the 17-13 league win over Leicester Tigers at Sixways.

The Six Nations returns on Friday, March 8 when Steve Bates’ side take on Italy in the penultimate round at Goldington Road.

But Solomons confirmed Hill, 19, and Lawrence, 19, would be available for their league match against Exeter Chiefs at Sixways on Saturday, March 9.

“They will be with us, that’s for sure,” said Solomons ahead of last weekend’s encounter with Tigers.

“The arrangement is simple.

“If it is a Premiership game then we have first choice of the player.

“In the Premiership semi-final against Saracens England had first choice so neither Ted and Ollie were available to us.

“It’s set out clearly which makes things a lot easier for everybody.”

Hill and Lawrence are expected to wear the Red Rose again on Friday, March 15 when England host Scotland as Worcester are not playing that weekend.
