WARRIORS.

7 Pennell – popped up when it mattered most to score the bonus-point try on his record-breaking 150th Premiership appearance and was pretty solid all afternoon.

7 Heem – sprang into action in the second half, proving unstoppable when he powered over the try-line and managed to shrug off another tackler to put Howe away for his try.

6 Venter – missed a couple of tackles before leaving the field following a blow to his head. His replacement Lawrence made an impact in attack and defence.

6 Mills – had a real battle on his hand defensively and his missed tackle on Cordero allowed O’Flaherty to score but the skipper was instrumental in Pennell’s late try.

6 Howe – gifted Chiefs a score when he failed to hold onto the ball but crossed the whitewash himself in the second period and pulled off a try-saving tackle on Woodburn at the death.

5 Weir – another disappointing afternoon for the fly-half who missed far too many tackles and pushed a relatively simple conversion wide. Warriors played better when Lance came on.

7 Hougaard – had the bit between his teeth as he tried desperately to get Worcester on the front foot, feeding Pennell for his try and was tenacious in the tackle.

6 Black – back into the starting line-up the prop was reliable in the set-piece and in defence but his concession of back-to-back penalties resulted in Chiefs scoring their second try.

8 ANNETT – returning from injury the hooker put in a phenomenal effort as he executed well at the lineout, put his body on the line and assisted two tries. My man of the match.

6 Schonert – had an indifferent day at scrum-time and was guilty of missing one too many tackles but made some useful metres when he got his hands on the ball.

7 Bresler – put in some bone-crunching hits and made a strong surge in the lead-up to Hill’s score but was unable to stop Devoto in his tracks prior to Williams’ touchdown.

6 Fatialofa – rarely saw him in the loose but did not do a lot wrong and after last week’s lineout malfunction he communicated the calls well on this occasion.

7 Hill – put in several dominant tackles as Warriors looked to get on top of Exeter and used all of his pace and power to cut through and finish under the posts.

7 Lewis – stood up to the challenge of facing a powerful Chiefs pack as he got stuck in at the breakdown and clocked up a whopping 17 tackles.

8 Mama – gave a strong case to be man of the match as he was excellent in the loose with his jinking runs opening up Chiefs and was quick to get over the ball to secure turnovers for his team.
