WORLD Cup winner Wynand Olivier will line up for Worcester Cavaliers when they return to Premiership Rugby Shield action against Northampton Wanderers tonight (7.30pm).

Olivier, who won the World Cup with South Africa in 2007, will be joined by Zimbabwe international prop Farai Mudariki as Cavaliers start a run of three matches in four weeks which could secure them a place in next month’s semi-finals.

Will Butler, who will partner Olivier in the centre, will captain Cavaliers who also include full-back Scott van Breda, who was an unused replacement in Saturday’s European Challenge Cup quarter-final against Harlequins.

England under 20s internationals James Scott and Kai Owen are also in the squad. Lock Scott starts and loosehead prop Owen is on the bench.

Morgan Monks, who impressed in Warriors under 18s team this season, will make his Cavaliers debut at blindside flanker.

There are six guest players among the replacements in Yorkshire Carnegie pair Harry Newborn and Louis Brown, Hartpury lock Zac Ward, Oxford University pair Sam Miller and Louis Jackson and Stourbridge centre Luke Veebel.
