WORCESTER'S star men's skittles team Numpty Dumpties are preparing to defend their British Championships title.
The competition launches later this month and captain Russell Edwards will once again guide the side who beat Renegades from Redditch 387-369 in the final last year.
"We’ve been preparing all through the winter playing in the very strong Worcester league," said Edwards.
"We’ll be fielding the same team."
Renegades will compete again too as this year’s championship kicks off with a series of regional rounds and play-offs.
Teams will battle hard for a place in the grand finals in September in Torquay.
The event is organised by Serious About Events of Torquay and entries close on Sunday.
