WORCESTER City under 18s suffered Midland Floodlit Youth League Cup semi-final heartache after a stunning comeback only to lose to Halesowen Town on penalties.
City battled back from three down with second-half goals from Milo Elmes and Hassan Shah (2) who levelled with a cool spot-kick.
Sean Dayus saved Halesowen’s first two penalties and City converted their first three but missed the next three as the hosts went through 4-3.
In Premier Division South, Matty Patrick-Rivers netted in a 4-1 defeat to Stratford Town who earned the title.
James Lemon netted twice in the reserves' 4-0 Midland League success at Uttoxeter Town which preceded a 3-2 loss to Redditch United.
In the JPL Cup, the under 15s did not take their chances in a 3-0 loss to Kidderminster Harriers.
The under 11s bowed out 3-2 against Halesowen Town.
The under 14s lost 1-0 at home to MK Dons in a JPL Elite fixture.
In friendlies, Nathan Wood bagged two in the under 13s' 4-2 victory over Gloucester City.
The under 16s and under 12s lost 2-1 to AFC Dunstable and Stourbridge respectively.
City’s girls' under 10 continued to make progress with a fine display against Catshill Wildcats.
