KAZOKU-KAN Judo Club's Liam Jones won the national title at the British Schools Adaptive Championships in Sheffield.

Jones claimed the gold medal while representing the Droitwich club with Corey Chapman securing silver in his second major competition and Sophie Kenny getting bronze.

Felicity Warburton won bronze despite having to go to hospital with a dislocated knee cap.

Head of the club Rich Morrish said: “These guys work their socks off both in training and at the events that we take them to.

"It’s great to see them taking the tools they are given and making something for themselves at the competitions.

"I am very proud of each and every one of them — a fantastic team and a credit to the club, their parents and themselves.”

Kazoku-Kan train every Friday evening at Physique Fitness.
