OLLIE Uffindall starred as Ombersley thrashed basement boys Brockhampton by seven wickets in Birmingham Cricket League Premier Division Two.

In a match reduced to 46 overs per side due to rain, the visitors crumbled from 63-1 to 99 all out against Ombersley as spinner Uffindall took 6-19.

Oliver Rogoff (28) and Nick Powell (24 not out) scored more than half of the runs for the Herefordshire side.

Opener and Worcestershire prospect Jack Haynes scored 47no as he steered fifth-placed Ombersley home.

Barnards Green lost by 16 runs at high-flying Leamington. The home top scorer was Harrison Smith (28) in a competitive 191-9 from 50 overs.

Worcestershire’s George Rhodes picked up 3-42 for Green who were bowled out in reply for 175 in 46.1 overs.

Skipper Ryan Tongue scored 35 but Oliver Currill took the last three wickets for 29.

Opener Jayden Levitt was unbeaten on 135 as Bromsgrove lost at Wolverhampton by one run.

Matthew Kleinveldt (51) and Jack Stanley (49no) eased Wolves to 232-6 in 50 overs.

After Bromsgrove’s second wicket fell at 44 Levitt was joined by the County's Alex Milton to add 124 for the third wicket before the latter was out for 56.

But the remaining batsmen could not assist Levitt and Bromsgrove finished agonisingly short.

A 158-run victory at Barnt Green maintained Berkswell's 100 per cent Premier Division One record after four games.

County captain Joe Leach took 4-15 and scored 42no in Shrewsbury's nine-wicket win over Kenilworth Wardens.

Neil Pinner played a captain’s innings for Kidderminster against Shifnal with 78 in their 153 all out in 46 overs.

But Shifnal won by three wickets after Ross Aucott hit 44 despite Liam Weston taking 3-19.
