JOHN Snape has been unveiled as assistant manager at Halesowen Town – less than 24 hours after leaving Worcester City.
Snape walked away from the City hotseat yesterday and was immediately replaced by his right-hand man Ashley Vincent.

Now Snape has been named as Paul Smith’s number two at Yeltz, the club he captained and made appeared 284 appearances during the 1990s as part of their halcyon days pushing for a place in the Conference.
He was linked to the top job in November before Rob Smith and long-time assistant Larry Chambers got the gig in what proved to be an ill-fated spell.
Smith, the ex-Bromsgrove Sporting manager who led Redditch United to safety in Southern Premier Central last season, dropped a level in a bid to lead relegated Halesowen’s return to that division at the end of April.
