EVESHAM United will remain in the Southern League Division One South for the 2019-20 campaign.

There was uncertainty over which league Evesham would end up in with some unofficial projections placing Carl Abbott’s side in the Central.

However the Football Association (FA) confirmed United, who finished seventh, eight points adrift of the play-off places last term, would stay put.

Barnstaple Town who finished in the relegation zone in 19th placed were handed a reprieve by the FA due to the resignation of eighth-placed Street.

Basingstoke Town and Frome Town will meet Abbott’s team next season after being relegated the Premier South.

Toolstation Western League champions Willand Rovers and Wessex Premier winners Sholing gained promotion to Evesham’s league.
