DROITWICH Spa High School's year nine boys' football team look for their second consecutive county cup final victory on Thursday.
Following last year’s win, Spa face St Augustine’s High from Redditch in this season's Worcestershire County Schools FA competition.
The team’s road to the final was littered with convincing victories including putting seven goals past Bewdley in the first round and four past South Bromsgrove in a re-run of last year’s semi-final.
Team coach Matt Jarvis said: "I am really proud of the way the boys have played this year.
"They have shown great team spirit and faced up to some strong opposition.
"In the quarter-final against Nunnery Wood they went a goal behind for the first time ever as a school team but their heads didn’t drop and they came back strongly to win 4-2.
"I am really excited for them and hope they can pull off back-to-back cup wins."
The final is at South Bromsgrove High School at 4.30pm.
