Stourbridge thirds made 202-6 in Worcestershire Cricket League Division Six with Jabba Riaz taking 2-31 and Dan Read 1-18.

In reply, Tim Waites batted with a dislocated finger for 41 and Aidan Thompson got 34 but OVs fell behind the run-rate and needed 84 from 11 overs to win.

Riaz hit two sixes in a rapid 35 before Read (8no) and Race (5no) scrambled the tie.

Ghayas Uddin (201no) and Khizar Khan (142) helped table-toppers Evesham seconds compile 460-3 in their win over Oldswinford and Stourbridge Social seconds.

Joe Pritchard (4-41) guided Hallow Taverners to a comfortable victory over Cookley seconds.

In Division Seven, Neil Evans took 6-13 including a hat-trick to set up Cutnall Green’s six-wicket victory at Kidderminster fourths.

Rushwick seconds won against Harvington while Stourport thirds posted 400-4 in a triumph over Bartestree and Lugwardine seconds thanks to Dave Cook (101no) and Bevan Neill (100).

In Division Eight, Sam Robinson (122) helped Birlingham beat Avoncroft seconds despite David Apperley replying with 112no.

Mehrban Akhtar (54) and Adam Hunaban (53no) starred for Kempsey seconds in their success against Claverley seconds.

Old Elizabethans thirds moved within three points of Division Nine table-toppers Droitwich Spa thirds as Graeme Norton led them to a 158-run victory over Romsley and Hunnington seconds.

Norton scored 97 off 68 balls with 68 from Seb Wilkins and 32 from Tony Rees in a mammoth 315-9 boosted by 58 extras.

Romsley’s reply ended on 157-9 with Andrew Gandon taking 4-21 and Andy Mitchell 3-13.

Ombersley thirds remain third after a six-wicket win over Himbleton seconds when Ben Hallam scored 48no and took 4-15.

Worcester thirds beat Five Ways Old Edwardians seconds in a thriller by one wicket.

Old Elizabethans fourths remain top of Division 11 as Guy Muspratt (116) and Waseem Ali (114) scored centuries to seal a 254-run win over Droitwich Spa fourths.

Connor Hetherton smashed six sixes in his 63no off 22 balls as OEs compiled 363-7 with Joe Heywood taking 4-50 including a hat-trick.

Waseem took 3-36, Hetherton 2-27, Adnan Azam 2-20 and Jeremy Kemp 3-3 as Spa were bowled out for 109 in 30.1 overs.

In Division 12 South East, Whaid Hussain (74) led table-toppers Worcester fourths to victory over Feckenham thirds.

Division 12 South West leaders Stourport fourths were undone by fine bowling from the young Rushwick thirds attack with Lewis Tolley claiming 3-15.

Tenbury thirds lost to Worcester Nomads thirds as captain Sam Jones (106) and Chris Bland (99no) hit form.

Ben Clarke took 4-25 and Nick Davies scored 60 to secure victory for Barnards Green thirds at Bromyard thirds.
