AARON Brett continued his impressive start to the season with his second hat-trick in successive games.

Brett helped Worcester City Reserves make it two wins from two in the Total Motion Football League Challenge Trophy.

The in-form striker notched all the goals in a 3-0 victory over Bartley Reds, making it seven for the season following his four in the previous game against Cadbury Athletic.

City host Coton Green in the Reserve Division on Saturday at South Bromsgrove High School (3pm).

The under 18s won 2-1 in a hard-fought Midland Floodlit Youth League fixture at Halesowen Town.

The three points were clinched by a first-half Owen Oxley header and a late Will Cooke scrambled goal.

Oxley turned supplier for the first two goals as City won 3-0 at Brocton in the Midland League Under 21 West Division, denting the hosts' unbeaten start to the season in the process.

Tom Mills and Tom Griffin were the beneficiaries of the deliveries by Oxley who netted the third himself before half-time and later hit the bar.

City will face off with Droitwich Spa BG in the Challenge Bowl at South Bromsgrove High School on Saturday (10.30am).

Kidderminster Harriers under 21s steamed past Continental Star 20-1 in the league with four goals each for Reiss Taylor-Randle and Tom Harley.

There were hat-tricks for Ethan Freemantle and Muhammad Sebbeh Njie alongside a brace for Jaden Owusu-Nepaul.

J'Nai Butterfield-Steede, Bailey Fuller, David Neligwa and Will Gibbons also scored.

Stourport Swifts lost 5-1 at Rushall Olympic with Terrel Jeffers on target.

In the Reserve Division, Sporting Club Inkberrow won 4-1 at Nuneaton Griff's second string with Kieron Sheen (2), Alex Bullock and Joel Steer on target.

Meanwhile, the second Worcester City Youth junior football festival kicks off at Perdiswell Leisure Centre on Saturday.

More than 100 teams from under sevens to 16s will be in action across the weekend with City represented in every age group.

This season for the first time City are fielding teams from under sevens through to the first team including the under 21s and reserves.
