WORCESTER City Youth enjoyed a clean sweep of four wins over Birmingham City Community in the Nerf Junior Premier League kick-off.

The under 15s led the way with an 8-0 victory courtesy of hat-tricks for Eden Goodwin and Kobe Chikosi plus a Toby Lungley brace.

City's under 13s notched their first victory of the season with a 4-3 triumph thanks to Sam Sheen, Oliver Piekarski, Hayden Pegg and Alfie Lambert.

The under 14s made it two wins on the spin through Harry Stone (penalty), Guy Collett, Jamie Neath and Matt Athey for another 4-3 scoreline.

A single goal by Jack Fisher proved enough to maintain the under 16s’ unbeaten record.

Only one of City’s two under 12s teams were in action with the Midland Junior Premier League side losing 4-0 to Lawley Lightmoor.

City lost 8-1 in the West Midlands Women’s League to Birmingham-based Crusaders with Mel Hinton netting a chipped consolation.

It was a busy morning for the under eights who staged a double-header against Nunnery Wood and Bromsgrove Sporting.

Kidderminster Harriers provided the opposition for both City's under 10s and under 11s boys while the girls' under 11s produced a superb team performance against Kingfisher Youth.

The under sevens and nines played out entertaining matches with Westbury Celtic and Perdiswell Colts respectively.
