AFC Rushden and Diamonds took a top-five spot following their 3-0 win at Hayden Road against bottom-markers Redditch United.

A crowd of 550 bid Reds manager and former Diamonds favourite Duane Darby a warm welcome.

Evesham United moved level on points with Slimbridge and Cirencester Town in ninth in Division One South after a 5-3 win at Mangotsfield United.

The Robins led 2-0 at the break through Lee Chilton after 19 minutes and loanee Jamie Lucas on the whistle.

James Ollis put the Mangos back in the game six minutes after the restart only for Paul Sullivan to make it 3-1 just shy of the hour mark.

Four minutes later keeper Lochlan Robertson’s own goal reduced the deficit to one and Ollis’ second on 70 minutes made it all-square.

However, Calvin Dinsley on 76 minutes and a stoppage-time Matt Dodd goal stretched Evesham’s advantage to 5-3.
