SEVEN pupils from RGS Worcester schools have qualified for the British Youth Championships épée national finals.
Nine competed at the West Midlands fencing competition at Packwood Haugh School, Shrewsbury.
Joseph Kington, Zara Martin-Green, Amelia Titterton, Matthew Fallows, Will Fallows, Lucas Hancock, Jack Pitt, Tom Ehlers and Will Osborne impressed across a range of age groups.
Kington and Titterton secured gold medals, Ehlers silver and Will Fallows bronze.
Titterton from RGS Dodderhill, Kington, Martin-Green, Will Fallows, Hancock, Ehlers and Osborne will represent the region at the nationals in May.
Kington and Titterton both train with Droitwich Spa Fencing Club and were in the boys' under 12s and girls' under 14s categories respectively.
The Spa club meet every Tuesday evening at Dodderhill School and welcome new members.
They are holding a four-week beginners' course from Tuesday, February 18, and more details are available at droitwichfencing.co.uk.
