MALVERN Active's squash team took on the Exeter Golf and Country Club graded tournament.
Amateur players from all over the country competed at varying standards.
Gareth Oliver, Anthony Arnold, Jez Clarke and Oliver Parker represented Malvern at grades B to E respectively.
Although all players competed well in entertaining fixtures the Malvern side returned mixed results.
Parker reached the final of the E category although lost out 3-2 after a gallant fightback from being 2-0 down.
Malvern Active will look for an improved return next year.
They compete locally in the Worcestershire Squash Leagues.
At the halfway stage of the season the first team sit second in Division Two while the seconds are mid-table in Division Three.
