STRIKER Kye Dryden has signed for Worcester City from Atherstone Town.

The frontrunner was cup-tied for both FA Vase matches against City having played for Chelmsley Town, where he bagged 10 goals in 24 matches, earlier in the season.

Two of those strikes came in the Vase, a 3-2 opening-round defeat at FC Stratford.

Dryden, who also registered with Alvechurch earlier this season under Darren Byfield, is eligible for tomorrow's Midland Football League Premier Division trip to Haughmond (Saturday, 3pm) but the match is subject to an internal pitch inspection.

League bosses have given permission for club officials to make the call on pitches rather than bringing in a referee for a formal inspection on the back of recent inclement weather.
