WORCESTER City have announced that applicants for the vacant managerial role at the club must have registered their interest by Mondaay 14, 5pm.

The club confirmed in a statement that they have already received a "broad interested" from a "competitive" field. 

Ashley Vincent and his coaching team left their post last Sunday after the 3-2 defeat to Shepshed Dynamo in the second-round of the FA Vase.

City's next match is in nine days time, when they host Heather St Johns in the Midland Football League Premier Division clash at Claines Lane. 

The full statement read: "Prospective applicants yet to register interest in the vacant first team manager’s position should be aware that the deadline to do so is Monday 14th December at 5pm.

"Interest can be registered by emailing chairman@worcestercityfc.org.

"Supporters can rest assured that a considered and formal process is in operation to make the right appointment for Worcester City FC and the Football Club has already received broad interest from a competitive field of applicants for the first team manager vacancy.

"As the process progresses, updates will be provided."
