Following his Scotland call-up yesterday, Duhan van der Merwe is now preparing to show all Warriors fans exactly what they have to look forward to next season when the flying winger touches down in Worcester.
But how good is he and what levels can he possibly reach?
Worcester News' sports reporter Marcello Cossali-Francis spoke to Sandy Smith, Edinburgh Rugby blogger for 'The Burgh Watch', and he gave me the low-down on the powerful wide man.
"He is just a quality player," he said
"He can have a huge impact for Worcester and he is one of those players who people pay to come and watch.
"Duhan has got it in him to be a superstar so it's a disappointing one for us Edinburgh fans."
Sandy has watched the South African born winger for the last three years and admits he has been blown away by the pace and power of the man and if you have a look at his stats, you can see why.
In the last three seasons in the Pro 14 he has been first or second for defenders beaten, made the most metres in 2019 and he was top of the charts for clean breaks in 2019.
He was named player of the year last season in the Guinness Pro 14 and averaged a try every other game he played.
Despite his incredible club form Sandy admits there were question marks over whether van der Merwe could replicate it on the international stage and he was given his chance by Gregor Townsend in the Autumn Nations Cup at the end of last year.
Duhan scored three tries in his first four Scotland games, proving yes, he could do it on the big stage and that has led Sandy to think there is a British and Irish Lions shirt with his name on.
"If that tour goes ahead, there is a high chance of him being a Lion come the summer," he added.
"I don't see anybody more exciting to watch or more powerful as a winger in British rugby at the moment.
"He has some deficiencies in his game but what he brings more than compensates for.
"Against Ireland in the autumn he came in off his own wing and ran right through the Irish defence just like that and that's what he can bring, moments where nothing is going for you and then all of a sudden, he does that.
"Some of his tries for Edinburgh have been through sheer pace, he leaves defenders in his wake but he has a step, he can dummy and he's also really hard to bring down.
"Sometimes it takes two, three players to tackle him and that provides an opportunity for others.
"If Duhan has three people hanging off him and he can get an offload away, it creates so many chances."
So what will he bring to Worcester?
At 6ft 4in he is already a mountain of a bloke and then you add to that 16 stone of pure muscle and some serious wheels, you have created something very, very destructive so naturally all by himself he is going to improve a side.
The weakness Worcester have throughout their side, barring maybe Ollie Lawrence and Ted Hill, is their lack of powerful ball carriers that can consistently break the gain-line and get them on the front-foot.
In addition to that, the stats of the Premiership show thus far this season that Warriors make the most entries into the opposition 22 of nay side in the league but are bottom of the pile when it comes to points per entry.
Sandy says Duhan will offer Warriors the solution to that problem.
"Given that Worcester create the most chances but fail to finish them off, he is the player to fit that role," he said.
"He is still relatively new to the international scene and has not played professional rugby for all that long, only really breaking into senior rugby with Edinburgh.
"I think he played a combined six times for Montpellier and The Blue Bulls back in South Africa before he signed for Edinburgh.
"His only deficiencies are in defence and he doesn't kick particularly well but he is definitely 'mouldable' that's for sure."
