THE Prime Minister has today announced that youth and adult outdoor sport will be able to return from March 29.
Boris Johnson addressed the commons on Monday afternoon outlining the ‘roadmap’ for the country to come out of lockdown.
People in England have spent the last eight weeks in the third national lockdown and all non-elite sport has been suspended in that period with only professional sport being allowed to continue.
But now for all outdoor team and individual sports at both adult and youth level, will get the green light to finally resume at the end of next month.
The other good news was that fans could well return to elite stadiums by 17 May.
In large stadiums, the limit will be 25% capacity or 10,000 (whichever is lower) but for small stadiums like Sixways, the limit will be 4,000.
