THE non-league football season between steps three and six have been declared null and void, subject to ratification from the FA council.
This means that league seasons for the Midland Football League, The Pitching In Southern League and the West-Midland Football League will all be curtailed.
It comes after the FA released the outcome of the vote that was taken by all clubs at those levels.
Clubs at Step 3-6 were surveyed on the outcome of the season and asked: 'Does your club hold an immediate view as to what should happen to the 2020/21 season?'.
Steps 3 & 4: 63% Null & Void 16% Aug Restart 21% Other
Steps 5 & 6: 55% Null & Void 14% Aug Restart 31% Other
The press release also confirmed that discussions will resume regarding the restructuring of steps 4-6, that were on hold since the 2019/20 season.
The FA have confirmed, however, that the FA Vase competition will continue, meaning that Malvern Town WILL get to play their fourth round tie away at Congleton Town.
