CHANCELLOR Rishi Sunak will today announce a new £300m recovery package for sport, it is understood.
Sunak will deliver his budget statement at 12.30pm and it is expected that £25m of new funding will be made available to grassroots football.
It is not yet known exactly the breakdown of the package but more will become clear during his statement.
