THE proposed non-league restructure at Steps 4-6 looks set to be given the green light, it has just been announced.
The FA Alliance & Leagues committees have recommended that the restructure takes place, under which 110 clubs at Step 4-6 will be upwardly moved.
The move will see one new division created at Step 4, two new divisions at Step 5 and the number of divisions at Step 6 reduced to 17.
20 clubs will move from Step 5 to Step 4, 60 from 6 to 5 and then 30 clubs will move from the Regional NLS Feeder Leagues to Step 6.
Results from the 19/20 and 20/21 seasons will be used to rank teams on an unweighed points per game basis
In terms of teams that will be impacted on the Worcestershire patch, this move would most likely see Malvern Town being promoted into step five from step six.
