FORMER Worcester City defender Joe Hawkins has joined fellow Worcestershire and Midland Football League Premier Division rivals Stourport Swifts for the 2021/22 season.
Hawkins made 21 appearances for City before joining MFL Prem side, Tividale, on an initial loan basis at the start of the last campaign.
That move was then made permanent in November but the no-nonsense centre-half will now return to the county and join Swifts.

Hawkins' time with City was short-lived and hampered by injuries after he was signed by previous manager Ashley Vincent in August 2019.
