SIGNED limited edition match shirts from Worcestershire Rapids Vitality Blast fixture win against Leicestershire Foxes on Sunday are now available to bid for via an online charity auction.

As part of Morgan Motor Company’s partnership with Worcestershire CCC, the sponsor’s logo on the front of the team’s shirts was replaced with the St Richard’s Hospice logo to raise awareness.

Each shirt is individually signed by the players and funds raised from the auction will go directly towards St Richard’s Hospice – the club’s 2021 official charity partner. Lots include the shirts worn by Rapids captain Ben Cox and overseas stars Ish Sodhi and Ben Dwarshuis.

The gesture from The Morgan Motor Company comes in direct response to a challenging year for St Richard’s Hospice, who have missed out on a large amount of expected income due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Despite these challenges, the hospice has continued to support many people in need across Worcestershire.

The auction is now open and will now run until 10pm on Sunday July 11, further details can be found on the club's auction website here

David Hoskins, Worcestershire CCC’s Head of Commercial and Operations, said: “Once again thanks to Morgan Motor Company for their tremendous generosity re the shirts and St. Richard’s Hospice for Sunday’s game.

“Now the members and supporters can play their part in helping this tremendous hospice by bidding for the shirts that will be worn by the Rapids against Leicestershire.

“It will be a unique opportunity to own one of these shirts and help fund St. Richard’s Hospice so they can continue their amazing work and support with the local community.”
