WORCESTER City Women FC will become the first side within the club to wear the new badge for the 2021/22 season, it has been confirmed.

The new club crest was revealed last month and the women's side will be sporting a new standalone kit for the upcoming campaign to mark a new era for the female game in Worcester.

Worcester City Women will wear a tailored version of the new badge specific to the them to give it a distinct identity, beginning in the 22/23 season.

Speaking on the announcement, Executive Director Nicole Allison said: “The club badge is a vital part of any club’s identity and so we are very proud to be the first Worcester City team to wear the new badge in 21/22.

"We also look forward to Worcester City Women having a tailored version of the badge recognising women's football as a part of the historic tapestry of Worcester City FC."

Club director for both the women's and men's side, Luke Cox, added: "Worcester City FC is committed to growing the women’s game and this is a perfect statement of our intent.

"The tailored version of the new badge for the women’s team will be identical to the new club badge, just with ‘Worcester City FC Women' in the roundel, and a different founding year to reflect the first year Worcester City had a women's team.”

All Worcester City teams will sync with brand new kits for the 22/23 season.
