Worcester City’s pre-season preparations were dealt a blow today after a match scheduled for later this month was cancelled.
City were scheduled to play Tamworth FC on Sunday July 31 but the clash has now been cancelled, neither team has provided an explanation as to why.
Worcester have said they will not be making any arrangements for an alternative fixture.
Tamworth will play Wrexham AFC in a friendly on the original date.

The match was to be City’s final pre-season match away from home, they still have two warm-up games at Claines Lane.
Worcester face Stourbridge FC and Kidderminster Harriers FC on July 24 and August 3 respectively.
The Midland Football League Premier Division season begins on Saturday August 14 with Worcester City at home against AFC Wulfrians.
