Worcester Cricket Club’s U13 finished third at the T20 Vitality National Club Finals earlier this week.
The boys celebrated wildly following their win over Wimborne in the 3/4 place play-off, topping off an excellent tournament.
It was not a short process to reach the finals day at Rugby School.
The team first qualified from their Worcestershire country group; beating Little Stoke to reach the regional stage, where they overcame sides from Bedfordshire in the semi final & Norfolk in the final to qualify for finals day on Monday.
They lost their semi against New Rover from Yorkshire but finished 3rd after beating Wimborne from Dorset.
1200 clubs from around the UK entered the competition so it is a huge achievement for the Norton-based cricket club. Congratulations to all.
