FORMER Worcester City forward Andy Nicol broke an 89-year record at the weekend playing for Darlaston Town.
Darlo were 7-0 winners over Khalsa Football Federation and striker Nicol scored ALL seven as he set the new feat of scoring the most goals for the club in a Midland Football League Division One fixture.
Decent saturday, villa win, darlo win 7 and I score all 7 😂🙌⚽️💙

If you want to watch all seven goals; a highlights package was put together by Rich Cooper and can be found right here.
The previous record was set way back in 1932 when Bill Chambers netted five in a 14-3 win against Birmingham Trams.
In 1962, it was then equalled by Eddie Glover, who made the net bulge five times during their 13-2 victory over Lye Town.
Sadly, Glover died during last week and a minute's applause was had before the game to commemorate his life.
First-team manager Dean Gill said this on Twitter, which summed it all up very nicely.
Witnessed something special today, we held a minutes applause for ex player Eddie Glover who sadley passed last week, Eddie held record goals in a game (5) - Then witnessed @gbnational19 score 7 !

Try and tell me there isn’t a football god 🙏#Goodthingshappentogoodpeople 💙
Nicol's achievement was therefore made that little bit more special and remarkable at the same time.
Nicol left City during the third lockdown due to difficulties regarding travel to and from the club and wanting to spend more time with his family.
He is now enjoying life at Step Six Darlo, who sit second in the Midland Football League Division One table.
They have four wins and a draw from their five games so far and Nicol has already netted 13 times this season.
