Wolves star Adama Traore had a special message for young Worcester City FC players as he recorded an emotional video clip wishing them all the best for the new season.

The Spanish winger wished the Under 13 players “good luck” after being stopped outside Molineux by a Worcester-based Wolves fanatic over the weekend.

Jack Edwards, a 12-year-old Blessed Edward Oldcorne pupil, was at the Wolves versus Tottenham Premier League match on Sunday and saw Adama as he left the stadium after the game.

“It was brilliant - he’s my idol, so I went up to him and asked him to record a video for my team mates at Worcester City,” he said.

“I told him how much I love watching him play and how strong he is on the pitch.”

In the motivational video, the Wolves singer tells Worcester City Under 13s: “I hope you are all ok, big hug - follow your dream, with work and faith you can ‘arrive’ wherever you want, ok? Big hug from Adama.”
