Scotland international Lisa Cockburn is set to make her Worcester debut tommorow as Warriors take on Bristol Bears at Sixways.

The 29-year-old made the move to Worcester last week following an eight-year stint with DMP Durham Sharks.

The loosehead prop slots into the front row alongside compatriot Lana Skeldon and England youngster Flo Long for the Allianz Premier 15s clash.

Elsewhere, experienced Wales international Sioned Harries is named at number eight, having played the second half of last week’s home defeat to Exeter.

The final change comes in the form of Abi Kershaw who gets the nod at full-back, completing a dangerous back three alongside Canada international Paige Farries and England star Lydia Thompson.

Jo Yapp, Warriors Women’s director of rugby, is excited to see what Cockburn can do but is well aware of what Saturday’s opposition are capable of.

said: “We’re really looking forward to taking on Bristol, who have been going really well in the league this season.

“They strengthened significantly in the summer, and they are a team who like to move the ball around as well as having big ball carriers.

“It’s great to have Lisa [Cockburn] join us and we’re looking forward to seeing her in action. Due to injuries Lisa has a great opportunity and I’m sure that she will grab it with both hands.”

Meanwhile, the visitors have made three changes as they seek a return to winning ways.

Siwan Lillicrap, China Kill, and Holly Phillips all come into the side which was beaten 17-12 last weekend at Saracens.

Head coach Dave Ward also named Grace Crompton among the replacements following international duty with Great Britain Sevens.
