WORCESTER Raiders' forward Isaac Cooper has left the club to join fellow Worcestershire side Bewdley Town in the Midland Football League Premier.
He will join the Step 5 club that currently sit bottom of the MFL Premier after agreeing to the move from Sixways.
Cooper had initially tweeted in December that he was leaving the Raiders but was then named to start in their game with Cirencester Town Development on Monday evening.
The winger was involved in both goals during the shock 3-2 defeat and generally, has been one of the stand out players for the club in recent years.
But after Worcester signed the likes of Okera Simmonds and Jordan Murphy, competition up top is now fierce.
Danny Flowers and Kyle Belmonte both joined Bewdley after the controversial sacking of Chris Cornes at the back end of last year and now Cooper will test himself a level up with Bewdley.
Raiders co-manager, Karl Gormley tweeted: "Isaac is a brilliant player and a great lad. Good luck my mate."
