Ashley Beck is set to make his 50th appearance for Warriors on Saturday as they welcome Northampton Saints to Sixways for a Gallagher Premiership clash (kick-off 3.00pm).

The Wales international centre arrived from Ospreys ahead of the 2018/19 season having won seven caps.

A broken ankle curtailed the 31-year-old’s first season in Worcester, but he has since become one of the side’s key players in the Premiership.

Beck will reach the 50 appearances milestone by making his 38th start for the club.

Elsewhere, loosehead prop Rory Sutherland returns to the side after serving a suspension following his red card at Bath three weeks ago.

Scotland international Sutherland was initially suspended for three games but that was reduced to two after he successfully completed a World Rugby Coach Intervention course.

Sutherland’s international teammate Duhan van der Merwe has recovered from the illness that prevented him from taking part in Scotland’s Six Nations training camp in Edinburgh last week.

He will start on the left wing.

Last weekend, Billy Searle scored 16 points in the EPCR Challenge Cup win over Zebre.

This week, he switches from fly-half to full-back in place of the injured Jamie Shillcock in the only change to the starting XV from Warriors’ last Premiership match.

Wales fly-half Owen Williams is set to make his first appearance in almost four months off the bench. Williams tore a hamstring kicking for goal against Gloucester on October 2, an injury that required surgery.
