FORMER Worcester Warriors scrum-half Jonny Arr has officially joined local amateur rugby club Worcester RFC as head coach.
Worcester RFC, the amateur neighbours of Warriors, revealed that Arr would be taking the role from the beginning of next month.
The popular scrum-half made 217 appearances over 12 seasons for Worcester after coming through the club’s mini and junior section.

In August of last year, current hooker Niall Annett committed his services to Worcester RFC by agreeing to coaching mid-week training sessions.
The club, just over the road from Sixways, has had a tricky time of late with numbers thinning but the club are hopeful new boss Arr can bring a new focus to the senior set-up.
"The senior squad is going through a lean patch at the moment," said Chairman Steve Lloyd
"But I am confident that Jonny will bring a new focus to senior rugby and I very much look forward to working with him.
"As well as the seniors Jonny will also be looking at our senior coaching structure and also working with coaches and team managers across the club to help us develop a club ethos and style of playing."
