THE squads for Saturday's first round of Six Nations fixtures were released on Thursday and both of Worcester Warriors' internationals start for Scotland against England in the Calcutta Cup at Murrayfield on Saturday evening.

Warriors' Rory Sutherland will start at loosehead prop, whilst winger Duhan van der Merwe will be looking to replicate his form from the 2021 Six Nations and regain the top try scorer trophy he won.

The Worcester flier has been in good form at club level this season, scoring three tries which have all come at Sixways.

Sutherland scored his first try for the club last weekend in the 13-29 defeat to Northampton Saints.

England, who are captained by Tom Curry, have handed starts to the likes of Nick Isiekwe at lock, Lewis Ludlam and Sam Simmonds in the back-row and Marcus Smith starts at fly-half.

Elliot Daly is in the centres alongside Henry Slade and Max Malins and Joe Marchant occupy the wings, with Freddie Steward at full-back.

Former Worcester winger Josh Adams starts at outside centre for Wales, who play Ireland in Dublin first up on Saturday.
