SCOTLAND host France at Murrayfield this Saturday as the hosts look to keep their championship hopes alive.

Having beaten England in the Calcutta Cup in round one, a hopeful Scottish side headed to Cardiff to face Wales but dreams of a Grand Slam were squashed as the hosts edged a thrilled by 20-17.

This weekend they face the daunting prospect of facing a French side full of confidence.

With two wins from two, the pre-tournament favourites are the only nation who can now win the Slam but Scotland stand in their way.

They have won four of the last five against the French, however, and at home they are a different beast.

Worcester's very own Duhan van der Merwe is in the starting line-up for the clash, still looking for his first try of the tournament.

Head coach Gregor Townsend hands a debut to Glasgow's Rory Darge, who comes into an all new nack-row with Hamish Watson and Magnus Bradbury.

Exeter Chiefs’ Sam Skinner replaces his club teammate Jonny Gray, who is ruled out through injury, in the second row and will partner Edinburgh Rugby’s Grant Gilchrist fresh from collecting his 50th cap in Cardiff.

Edinburgh Rugby duo Pierre Schoeman and Stuart McInally retain their front row berths from the Wales v Scotland match with Glasgow Warriors’ Zander Fagerson returning to the starting line-up.

Glasgow Warriors centre Sione Tuipulotu starts for a second consecutive game at inside centre, alongside Gloucester Rugby’s Chris Harris in midfield.

Glasgow Warriors’ Ali Price and Racing 92’s Finn Russell are the half-back pairing for the sixth game in a row and Exeter Chiefs full-back Stuart Hogg will lead the team out 10 years on from his first start for Scotland, against France in 2012.
