FANS of Malvern's very own mountain bike World Champion, Evie Richards, will not need a ticket to watch her compete for Team England at the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham in August.

Tickets for the Mountain Bike event at Cannock Chase Forest on August 3 are now sold out, but fear not, as you can be there to support her in her quest for a gold medal.

There will also be a giant screen in Cannock town centre by Cannock Chase Council where you can watch all the action for free but if you want to see the action up close and personal, then you can get the free shuttle bus service from Stafford rail station to Cannock Chase Forest and watch the riders come past along the trail route.

The area is public access land so it means anyone can turn up and watch, ticket or no ticket. Marshalls will be positioned along the route to ensure the safety of spectators and riders.

The advice is that you arrive via the shuttle service or by bike, as there is secure cycle parking in the forest. If you can only travel to Cannock Chase Forest by car, there is limited Pre-Booked Parking available off Shooting Butts Road. There will be no parking available at Cannock Chase Forest.
