WORCESTER City's vice captain and centre-half Aaron Roberts has been enjoying himself on a surprise holiday in Dubai, meeting up with two major sporting stars.
Roberts was pictured with Liverpool's new Uruguayan big-money summer signing Darwin Nunez in a shopping mall.
The City fan favourite told the Worcester News that the famous meet and greet was all down to his girlfriend.
"I'm in Dubai on holiday which was a surprise for my 30th birthday planned by my girlfriend,"
"We went shopping at the mall and he (Darwin Nunez) was in their with his girlfriend so I spoke to him to wish him good luck as I support Liverpool and he thanked me and we had a picture and shook hands.
"A very nice guy but English wasn’t great but I’m sure he said 'you're the GOAT' (greatest of all time)"
Roberts also bumped into the current undisputed lightweight champion American boxer Devin Haney whilst relaxing in a rooftop swimming pool.

The holiday comes just a few weeks after Roberts committed to another season with Worcester.
