Former forward Sean Brain is to be given the chance to impress during Worcester City's pre-season schedule with a look to a return for the 2022/23 campaign.
Brain, who left City a year ago, has recently been at both Evesham United and Studley in the last 12 months and helped the latter to promotion to Step 5 in the Hellenic League.
The striker was involved in City's pre-season opener at Moreton Rangers on Tuesday night.
"Sean is keen to come back to the club," said Worcester manager Tim Harris
"He was there when I took over and then he went to Evesham United and Studley FC and now he is keen to get back involved.
"We are giving him an opportunity to try and earn a shirt through pre-season and we shall see where that take us."
