MALVERN director of rugby Dave Robins is urging his side to remain focused for the rest of the season to secure the title.

The Spring Lane outfit, who are currently top of the Midlands Two West table, host ninth-placed Whitchurch on Saturday (2.15pm).

Robins said: "As we start to get some of our injured players back we go into the last six games knowing that every side will raise their game and there will be no easy fixtures.

"We must remain focused on our game plan. We have a lot of talent in the squad and healthy competition for places."

Malvern triumphed 39-25 at Cheltenham North last weekend and Robins is looking for more of the same tomorrow.

He added: "We knew that North were going to be a tough prospect on their own turf, especially as we had so many changes. Ryan Henshaw grabbed a hat-trick and prop Matt Newman ran in a score "We wish Matt well as he now goes off to join the Auckland Blues' development squad for the next seven months before returning at Christmas."
