WARNDON Villages Sharks Under 10s booked a place in the Stourport Youth League Cup final for the second successive season.

Sharks defeated Worcester rivals Nunnery Wood Leopards 2-1 with goals from Callum Parker and Jazz Milward.

It was a hard-earned semi-final victory against determined opposition who had more of the ball in the first-half.

But Sharks' defensive duo Liam Dayus and JJ Kealey ensured Leopards were restricted to only two half-chances in that time.

Joe Bates and Jack Ferman went close with Keiran Smith strong in midfield.

The hosts only threatened occasionally but went ahead through Parker's turn and shot from a long clearance.

Dayus' cross then picked out Milward to bag the second goal from close range.

Sharks started the second-half strongly with Kieran Burns going close but Leopards hit back and deservedly found the net through a Sam Hayes penalty.

In the league, Nunnery Wood Tigers beat lowly Kidderminster Harriers FITC 4-0.

Tigers started on the front foot and Luke Obrey forced a save before Jai Gilchrist and Will Henshall fired wide.

Jordan Wise ran from deep to score the opener from Obrey's pass.

Ben Jones, commanding at the back with Jake Rousell, scored the second, his first of the season, from Obrey's back-heel.

In the second-half, James Ridge lashed in a Wise cross following good work from man-of-the-match Harry Loader.

The fourth goal arrived through Henshall's scorcher but Harriers continued to battle hard.

UNDER EIGHTS: Nunnery Wood Scorpions put on a great show to win 3-0 at fifth-placed Kidderminster Lions Cubs.

Scorpions made the most of a fine pitch with two good goals in the first-half.

Harry Saunders ran Cubs ragged on the left wing and sweetly struck home his 12th goal of the season after linking up with James Francis and Alex Hunt.

Man-of-the-match George Baker put in a great display in the middle and Sam Danvers tackled well at the back.

Sub Ed Burgoyne drilled in the second goal before half-time before Olly Twigg caused problems with his corners.

Twigg grabbed the third goal in the second period from Saunders' cross. The impressive Saunders also hit the bar.

UNDER 11s: A long-range strike from Court Jones was enough to settle a 1-0 Division One win for Worcester Colts at Nunnery Wood Panthers.

Panthers could have been one up on when Harry Clark fired over as he looked certain to score.

They continued to spurn chances and were made to pay when Colts went one up midway through the first-half.

Harry Green and Sam Rothery worked hard at the back for Panthers, while Joe Gilbert made several great second-half saves.

UNDER 12s: Northside Colts kept up their promotion charge by beating Areley Kings Youth 6-0.

After another strong opening, Alex Thain drove home the opener from player-of-the-match Cameron Thorne's cross.

Jack Burton netted with a free-kick for the second week in a row to put Colts 2-0 ahead at the break. Kings' goalkeeper had a good game but could not stop Luke Williams scoring from Thorne's assist.

Top-scorer Matt Armstrong chipped in the fourth goal and the hard-working Rhys Turberfield then finished off more good work by Thorne.

Turberfield set up Williams to complete the scoring for second-placed Northside.
